Champagne Opening - NEW Peninsula Museum of Art

The Peninsula Museum of Art opened in Burlingame last week with champagne, ethnic music and artists, including the incomparable Ira Yaeger, talking about their work.  This little gem of a museum is definitely worth a visit.  Check it out at 1777 California Drive in Burlingame.

Here are some of the Yaeger paintings on exhibit:

Emerald is Color of the Year - 9 Great Finds

There's a lush formality to this color.  Here are a few great ways to incorporate a little 17-5641 into your décor.

The Cappellini Peacock Chair by Dror
I love the playfulness of this chair from Dror and the emerald green just makes it sing.
Snow Drop Sofa
Now this is a stunning sofa that I could just imagine in so many rooms.  Emerald green velevet.  Yum!
